AAI Pavilion wins Best Pavilion Award at Vibrant NE 2023

The Vibrant North East Summit 2023 which was organised on May 16 to 18, 2023 at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra, Guwahati, Assam showcased various development features of different departments, organisations and public sector enterprises working in north-eastern region.
Airports Authority of India, AAI also actively participated as a co-sponsor of the summit where it was adjudged the best pavilion in PSU category. Award was jointly given by Dr VK Mishra, director, ICAR, NEH region, Meghalaya; Pankaj Pathak, member, ministry of Labour, Dr MJ Khan, director, ICFA, New Delhi.
AAI showcased vast achievements in the civil aviation sector especially in the regional connectivity and developing aviation infra in the region. The AAI stall was inaugurated by the chief guest Tarun Shridhar, IAS (r), Member Central Administrative Tribunal & former secretary of GoI.
The AAI stall had a digital interactive panel which was the centre of attraction for the visitors with another QR code kiosk which detailed about the airports in a state. With a pin point touch the visitor could get the details of all air connectivity of a particular airport. AAI also exhibited world class air navigation facilities and related communication systems at its pavilion.
Similarly, AAI stall displayed its existing aviation infrastructures as well as upcoming projects in the north-eastern region. The first greenfield airport of Arunachal Pradesh, Donyi Polo Airport, Itanagar; the first flight training organisation of north-east India at Lilabari Airport; the regional connectivity routes; the multi-modal connectivity including air, rail road and waterways within the region and routes connecting out of NER were prominently displayed in the exhibition. These are the steps initiated by the government which will help in bringing the rest of India closer to the region.
Visitors from across the classes stepped in to see the attractive digital as well as beautifully lit displays of the Airports Authority of India stall during the exhibition period. AAI officials led by regional executive director Sanmukh Juagani were also present to grace the occasion.
