Airport Authority of India, Guwahati gets first prize in official language

GUWAHATI, Dec 12: The Airports Authority of India, North Eastern Region, Guwahati has been awarded the first prize by the department of Official Language, ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, for the best performance in the field of official language.
The Airports Authority of India, North East Region in the category of Regional Official Language Award for the year 2021-22 was awarded in Public Undertakings of ‘C’ sector and this award was given by Ajay Mishra Teni, Union minister of state for Home Affairs on December 8, 2022, in the Official Language Conference at Bhubaneswar (Orissa).
Sanmukh Jugani, regional executive director, Airports Authority of India congratulated the Official Language department, all the heads of the regional headquarter and the airports of north-east for this achievement.
Gian Batra, general manager (HR) and Arvind Kumar Tiwari, senior manager (Official Language), North Eastern Region received the award along with the citation and the Official Language Shield from the chief guest at the Official Language Conference on behalf of the Airports Authority of India.
