Ajmal Senior Secondary School observes Anti-Drug Day

GOSSAIGAON, May 31: The Ajmal Senior Secondary School stationed at Hasrawbari in Gossaigaon observed ‘Anti- Drugs Day’ with a purpose to refrain the youth from smoking.
On this occasion, a cycle rally was also organised where students from the Ajmal Senior Secondary School with anti- drug banner and placard in their hands to attract the attention of the people of the society to refrain the youths from drugs.
The cycle rally was started from Ajmal Senior Secondary School playground, Hasrawbari and traversed to SDPO office, Gossaigaon. They shouted anti-smoking slogans like ‘Say No to Tobacco’, ‘Save Life, Quit Smoking’, etc.
Anowar Hussain, principal of Ajmal Senior Secondary School, Hasrawbari while interacting with the media said that to bring an awareness among the youths about how to refrain them from drug addiction was our motto. Now-a-days, drugs are leading our society into the path of uncertainty where mostly youths are addicted and, in that case, parents should play a pivotal role in keeping their son safe and healthy.
He again said that the youths should be motivated and guided with purposes in order to help them refrain from drugs.
