BISWANATH CHARIALI, Nov 20: The 49th Foundation Day of Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha (ANSS) will be held with a two-day programme on January 4 and 5, next year at Hojai, stated a press release issued by Durga Khatiwora, president of the literary body, Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, working president and Madan Thapa, chief secretary of ANSS.
In this regard, a public meeting was convened by the Hojai district committee of the literary body at Satya Narayan Mandir premises, with Ganga Nepal in the chair on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, executive president of Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha; Tilak Sharma, vice president; Madan Thapa, the chief secretary; Khagendra Dahal, secretary of ANSS; Dilliram Gautam, central executive member beside others.
In this connection, a reception committee was constituted with Bishnu Goutam as president, Bimal Pradhan as secretary along with 41 executive members. The meeting was also attended by many dignitaries of the area.
