Ashok Singhal inaugurates operating room

JAGIROAD, July 29: Health Minister Ashok Singhal on Tuesday inaugurated an operating room at the Nakhola Mahatma Gandhi Adarsh Hospital in Jagiroad, enabling the facility to conduct surgical deliveries.

Speaking at the event, Minister Singhal said that with the launch of the new operation room, women in the area will now be able to undergo delivery procedures at the hospital itself.

He informed that similar facilities have been introduced in eight hospitals across the state in the past two months.

Water Resources Minister and local MLA Piyush Hazarika welcomed Minister Singhal at the programme, which was also attended by Morigaon Deputy Commissioner Anamika Tiwari, District Joint Director of Health Dr Arun Nath, and several other dignitaries.
