Assam Agricultural University Bulletin ‘Ghare Pathare’ Goes Online

JORHAT, Aug 17:
 ‘Ghare Pathare’, the fortnightly news bulletin of Assam Agricultural University has gone digital from Wednesday.
AAU vice-chancellor Dr Bidyut Chandan Deka on Wednesday launched the e-edition of the bulletin on agricultural matters and news.
The bulletin in Assamese having wide range of information on agricultural activities and information of the north-eastern region has been published since past 40 years
An AAU official informed that Dr Deka launched the e-edition of ‘Ghare Pathare’ at a ceremony held in the vice-chancellor’s office, Jorhat campus of the university at Borbheta.
The official stated that the vice-chancellor, speaking on the occasion, hoped that the new initiative will give a boost to the dissemination of information on agriculture and people could have easy access.
Dr Ranjit Kumar Saud, a faculty member, who is the chief editor of the bulletin, anchored the  programme, which was attended by the director, Extension Education, AAU, Dr Prasanna Kumar Pathak.
It may be mentioned that the ‘Ghare Pathare’ gets published on the first day and sixteenth day every month.
