MORIGAON, Dec 2: “The foundation stone of the medical college will be laid by the state chief minister on December 8, 2022 which was proposed to be constructed with cost of Rs 650 crore at Baghara,” said minister of state Water Resources, Information & Public Relation, Pijush Hazarika.
He said that the chief minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma will lay the foundation stone of another three big projects – Morigaon-Jagiroad connecting concrete bridge to be constructed with cost of Rs 75 crore over the river Kapili, Rs 100 crore has been alloted for the construction of roads under PWD and Rs 63 crore has been alloted for Water Resources department.
Moreover, the minister informed that the chief minister will also lay the foundation stone for re-constructions of the ITI and the polytechnic colleges in the district.
On the other hand, the minister instructed the deputy commissioner Devashis Sarma to place an inquiry against the alleged scarcity of bandage, cotton and syringe in the Swahid-Tilak –Hemram-Gunabhiram Civil Hospital, Morigaon.
