BISWANATH CHARIALI, Dec 13: Assam Rifles took a commendable initiative by organising a training session on ‘Beekeeping as part of the National Beekeeping and Honey Mission’ at its Battalion headquarters in Lokra. The event aimed to empower participants with essential skills and knowledge related to beekeeping, fostering sustainable practices and contributing to the mission’s broader objectives. The training provided a platform for enthusiasts to learn about the intricacies of beekeeping, emphasising its significance in promoting biodiversity and enhancing agricultural productivity. Assam Rifles played a pivotal role in supporting agro-based livelihoods and environmental conservation through this well-organised training initiative, bridging the gap between theory and practical application. The event was attended by 35 people with full zeal and enthusiasm.
