BISWANATH CHARIALI, Jan 16: In commemoration of Indian Army Day on Monday, Assam Rifles organised an informative lecture themed ‘Know Your Army/Assam Rifles’, as per a press release. The lecture covered historical backgrounds, operational intricacies, and the overarching responsibilities shouldered by the Assam Rifles. Attendees gained a profound understanding of the significance of Assam Rifles in national defense. Such initiatives contribute to public awareness, strengthening the bond between the military and civilian population, fostering unity, and appreciation for the sacrifices and dedication of the armed forces. A total of 59 students from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Lokra, attended the event.
