On this meaningful occasion, local women tied traditional sacred threads (Rakhi) around the wrists of the unit’s personnel, symbolising the cherished bond between brothers and sisters. The gesture not only strengthens these bonds but also spreads messages of peace and unity across society.

In total, the event witnessed the participation of 50 local women and 70 Assam Rifles personnel, fostering camaraderie between the military unit and the local community.
