Assam Rifles organises free medical camp

BISWANATH CHARIALI, Dec 28: Lokra Battalion of Agartala Sector under the aegis of inspector general Assam Rifles (East) organised free medical camp under ARCAP (Assam Rifles Civic Action Program) at Bihaguri village under Sonitpur district on Wednesday, stated a press release.
The medical camp was organised to provide free medical consultation and medicines to local people devoid of basic medical infrastructure and facilities. Apart from medical assistance, basic awareness on hygiene and healthy lifestyle was also imparted in the medical camp. A total of 296 locals benefited from this medical camp. This initiative and the continuous efforts Assam Rifles dedicated towards the upliftment of local people was highly appreciated by the civil administration and local people.
