BISWANATH CHARIALI, Sept 17: Assam Rifles, under HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), organised a yoga program in Lokra village, Sonitpur, with the aim of encouraging the practice of various yoga asanas and incorporating yoga disciplines into daily life. The participants actively engaged in yoga sessions, focusing on achieving correct yoga postures and positions.
In addition to yoga sessions, the event provided an opportunity for interaction between civilians and serving personnel. Discussions covered topics such as meditation, relaxation techniques, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Attendees had the chance to learn various yoga asanas’ techniques and benefits, which were highly appreciated by both locals and force personnel.
The event saw participation from 37 locals, 59 students, and 29 personnel, all displaying enthusiasm and zeal for yoga and healthy living, according to a press release.
