Assessment meeting of Sivasagar Juvenile Justice Board held

SIVASAGAR, Dec 7: Sivasagar district Juvenile Justice Board held its annual assessment meeting on Tuesday at Sukapha Bhawan in the presence of District & Session Judge Lohit Kumar Saikia, Sivasagar deputy commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav IAS, CJM Sivasagar Rajesh Boro, Additional Session Judge Mridul Kumar Saikia, secretary, District Legal Service Authority Sagarika Borpujari, Magistrate Himadri Sarmah, ADC Sivasagar Chandana Barua, additional SP Dr Debajit Nath and Rajashee Dhandia, DSP Daisy Gogoi and officials of Juvenile Justice Board and Child Welfare Department.
The meeting reviewed the works of the Board, the Juvenile Rehabilitation Centres and the conditions of the inmates of the centres, besides the new guidelines of child welfare.
A training session of the police and social welfare officials was also organised on the occasion.
