BISWANATH CHARIALI, April 9: The award distribution ceremony of All Assam Journalists’ Union (AAJU) will be held under the aegis of Biswanath district AAJU at Biswanath Chariali on May 8 this year. In this connection, a meeting of Biswanath district AAJU was held on Saturday at Biswanath Chariali with Naren Bora, president of Biswanath AAJU in the chair. Ratan Bhuyan, secretary of Biswanath AAJU briefed the objectives of the meeting which was addressed by Niranjan Hazarika, Ananda Handique, Pulak Hazarika, Amir Khan, Pankaj Barua, Hiranya Borthakur, Jagtar Singh, Khagen Matak, Gilam Rasul Ali, Gopal Khanal, Kaji Jehidul, Bedadeep Upadhyaya besides others. A reception committee was also formed on Saturday. Journalists throughout the state will attend the event. The award distribution ceremony will be held at the auditorium of Kamalakanta Natya Samaj here.
