NAGAON, May 11: ‘Sristi’, a leading cultural organisation of the small town is going to organise ‘Basanta Utsav’ at Nagaon Nehrubali field here on Saturday next.
The youths’ heartthrob of the state artiste and singer, Zubin Garg will be the main attraction of the cultural extravaganza of ‘Basanta Utsav’. Besides, eminent Assamese film stars – Jatin Bora, Prastuti Parashar, Nishita Goswami, Megh Ranjani Medhi will also participate in the cultural programme.
In a press note, it is stated that during the programme, like the previous year, the organising cultural group will present ‘Kolongporia Silpi Award 2023’ to folk artiste and noted instrumentalist Manik Kalita who is around 91 old.
