Best director award to Parthajit Baruah

NAGAON, Dec 13: Noted film director and critic of the state, Parthajit Baruah has been awarded with the best director in Mumbai International Short Film Festival 2022. He was nominated for the award for his short film ‘Brush Stroke’ – a 45 minutes long film especially made on the life and creations of the noted artiste of the state Lt Nilapavan Boruah.
The award was ceremonially presented to Boruah in a function held at Hotel Residency in Mumbai on Sunday last.
It is worth mentioning here that the music was arranged by Mandeep Mahanta while it was edited by Hirak Jyoti Pathak and Nahid Ahmed set camera in the film, a release added.
