Biswanath College boasts add on course on Entrepreneurship Development

BISWANATH CHARIALI, Feb 22: An add on course on Entrepreneurship Development was inaugurated on Saturday at Biswanath College under the aegis of the department of economics.

 Chinta Mani Sharma, principal of the College inaugurated the course in a meeting chaired by Karabi Gogoi, head of the dept of economics.

Dr Sharma praised the department for taking this initiative and expressed hope that the entrepreneurship development course would help the students in selecting a right way of living in the near future. He said that in the present day context, it was better to be a job provider than a job seeker.

Speaking on the occasion, Naresh Thakur, co-ordinator, IQAC, Rajeswar Bodo, president, BCTU and Bhaben Kalita, head, Dept of education motivated the students to do entrepreneurial activities and live a meaningful life. 

Gogoi explained the structure of the course and the future steps that will be taken during the course. The meeting was anchored by Ashomi Kalita, assistant professor of the department, Chandramoni Sharma, Minakshi Gohain, Khagen Saikia, Heema Rani Borah, Bhagyashree Gogoi and a host of students attended the meeting.
