Biswanath district admin felicitates freedom fighters

BISWANATH CHARIALI, Aug 10: Twenty-seven freedom fighters were felicitated by the Biswanath district administration on Tuesday as a part of the celebration of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Eleven officials from Biswanath district administration visited the houses of the freedom fighters and felicitated them with a citation, cheleng, gamosa and a memento. The officials including Pranjal Das, circle officer of Biswanath revenue circle; Lukumoni Bora, circle officer Helem; Madhurjya Parashar, BDO Biswanath; Akashdeep Kakaty, circle officer, Naduar; Alina Kandulala, circle officer, Biswanath; Mantush Chakravarti, circle officer, Naduar; Manish Bharali, circle officer, Gohpur; Debananda Nath, BDO Behali; Rajib Bora, BDO Baghmora; Goutam Sarma, BDO, Sakomotha and Palak Kumar Sarma, BOD Sootea visited the houses of freedom fighters and felicitated them on behalf of Biswanath district administration.
