KOKRAJHAR, May 18: The president of Assam state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and MLA, Bhabesh Kalita said that BJP and its alliance partner parties have so far prepared 12 plus mission for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections due in 2024 next year.
Kalita was on a day-long programme in Kokrajhar on Thursday, and said that the BJP party and its alliance parties are absolutely prepared to contest in the upcoming parliamentary elections in the state of Assam.
He informed that so far, BJP has prepared and launched 12 plus missions in Assam for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Assam.
He said that the BJP alliance will be able to win twelve seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
He said that in the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha seat, the alliance party will contest in the upcoming parliamentary elections and win with majority support.
He also claimed that the BPF party would also vote for the alliance.
Meanwhile, BJP president Bhabesh Kalita laid foundation stone to construct Chilarai Bhawan at Dimalgaon in Kokrajhar on Thursday.
The Bhawan would be constructed under the financial support from the state government of Assam through the Koch Rajbongshi Development Council.
Kalita was accompanied by BTR executive members Ranjit Basumatary, Arup Kumar Dey, Diganta Baruah, chairman of Koch Rajbongshi Development Council, Pranab Narayan Deb, president of Koch Rajbongshi Cultural Society Buddeshwar Roy.
