KOKRAJHAR,SEP 23: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Kokrajhar district committee held it’s special executive meeting with a day long programme scheduled on Friday being held here at Pragati Bhawan in Kokrajhar.
The meeting discussed deeply over the building of party strategies and party affairs where executive members of the party’s district committee participated from several mandal committees of the district.
President of Assam state of BJP party and MLA, Bhabesh Kalita graced as chief guest in the programme.
Kalita told the media persons after the meeting that the Kokrajhar district committee of ruling BJP party has discussed thoroughly over the building up welfare and uplift of the party besides resolved several resolutions regarding the party’s strategy building up.
He said that the BJP and UPPL party is unitedly reigning government in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) as well Dispur under the banner of BJP led NDA alliance.
He informed that the BTR government and state government is committed to work for the welfare and development of all sections of the citizens in the state.He said that the alliance government in BTR have so far launched various mission and visions to make healthy upliftment of the society since it’s voted to the power in Bodoland region.
Kalita said that the BJP party is rendering services for bringing healthy welfare and integration of the citizens with dedicated attitude.
He said that the BJP and UPPL parties will put a united candidate under the alliance spirit in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections (2024) in Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency and hopeful that the BJP -UPPL candidate will get last laugh from Kokrajhar.
He said that citizens cutting across the caste,creed and communities are wanting a healthy welfare and development in all levels and accordingly voting in favour of BJP UPPL party’s united candidate.
He said that both BJP and UPPL parties are finalising the united candidate after taking consensus views both from the parties in days to come.
He has asked the party member and leaders to be dedicated where rendering services among the common masses.
