SIVASAGAR, April 1: Working president of the state Congress committee Rana Goswami on Friday, while addressing the party workers here, alleged that the ruling BJP is using the central agencies CBI, ED, CID to stifle the opposition in the centre as well as in the state.
Lacing out the BJP, he said that an undeclared emergency is in vogue in India now and opposition voice from any quarter is not tolerated. The people now cannot raise any question regarding the soaring price rise, unemployment and other issues.
Rahul Gandhi did exactly that. He raised questions regarding the meteoric rise of Gautam Adani in global reaming as an industrialist. Rahul raised questions about the close relationship of Adani and the PM and investment of Rs 20 thousand crore in Adani’s company.
Goswami added that an MLA from the ruling party filed an FIR in Surat Court nine days after Rahul Gandhi criticised the Prime Minister in a meeting in Karnataka.
