BISWANATH CHARIALI, Oct 20: A six-day long book fair will be organised by Istantik, a socio-cultural and educational organisation of the greater Sootea area in collaboration with Bonsai Publication.
The book fair was inaugurated by Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika on Wednesday. The book fair i8s being organised inside the office premises of Istantik which will continue till October 24, stated a press release.
The inaugural event was attended by Dipshikha Handique, mayor of Sootea municipal board; Lakhi Kanta Bora, president of Sootea Anchalik Panchayat; Udayshankar Shaikia, president of No 3 Sootea GP, beside the members of both Istantik and Bonsai.
