BRYF observes 1st Foundation Day

DONGKAMUKAM, Oct 1: Bithung Rengthama Youth Forum (BRYF) observed its 1st Foundation Day in a function held at Tumpreng market in West Karbi Anglong on Friday.
On the occasion, candidates who passed the HSLC and HS examinations in 2022 from Bithung Rengthama were felicitated. 300 were felicitated with Karbi turbans and a copy of the dictionary.
Advisor of BRYF, George Timung said, “The organisation was founded for the cause of education and not for hobnobbing with any political party. To stand one must get educated otherwise one is blind.”
President of Karbi Students Association, Thangsing Timung; president of BRYF, Provenson Bey; ward commissioner of Dongkamukam Municipal Board, Jitu Terang and others were present at the meeting.
