HOJAI, Sept 18: A convocation ceremony was held at Ajmal Rural Technology & Demonstration Centre (ARTDC), Padumphukury, Hojai on Saturday. ARTDC is an NCVT affiliated industrial training centre.
In the convocation ceremony, NCVT trade certificates were distributed among the successful candidates who appeared in the All India Trade Test – 2022 (AITT-2022) conducted by NCVT, DGT, Government of India.
Moreover, top three trainees from the trades of electrician, wireman & fitter were awarded with a certificate of appreciation and a memento for their achievements.
The program was chaired by Dr SH Chowdhury, president, Markazul Ma’arif. Dr. Rajat Goswami, HOD Chemistry department, Lumding College graced the programme as chief guest.
MB Goswami, lecturer, Diphu College attended as guest of honour.
Khalilur Rahman Laskar, general secretary, Markazul Maarif & Jamal Uddin, manager, Markazul Maarif also attended the event.
Engineer Shahraj Ruhani, principal, ARTDC on behalf of all his staff conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to all the guests for making the convocation ceremony a successful one. He also thanked the management of Markazul Maarif for their never-ending support to the ITI and also congratulated all the successful students and wished them all the best for their future endeavours.
He also took the opportunity to thank the Directorate General of Training, Government of India for giving the ITI’s the opportunity to conduct the convocation ceremony.
