CRPF holds civic action programme at Chariduar

TEZPUR, Nov 11: The 30 Battalion of CRPF organized a civic action programme at the Chariduar Primary
School in the district of Sonitpur on Friday under which two block toilets were also inaugurated.
Arun Kumar Meena, commandant of the 30 Battalion of CRPF and Ranju Das, headmistress of Chariduar
Primary School inaugurated the two block toilets in presence of Kamal Singh Negi, deputy commandant,
Daniel L. Hmar, deputy commandant of 30 batallion of CRPF, Rajesh Dutta, principal of Nevil High
School, Mrinal Saikia ZPC Balipara, Krishna Koch ZPC Chariduar, social worker Rajnish Saikia, Gram
Pardhan Renu Koch, Panchayat President Soham Pradhan and residents of the area were also present
on the occasion.
Arun Kumar Meena, commandant of 30 Battalion of CRPF spoke in length about the commitment of
CRPF and the battalion in particular to offer a helping hand to the local people in all aspects of the social

sector. He stressed that the programme was held under the able guidance of Birendra Kumar Sharma,
inspector general, Ops Jorhat Sector and Anil Bisht, DIG Range Khatkhati, CRPF.
He also briefed about an ongoing civic action programme during 2023-24 in which 30 Bn had organized a
free medical camp at North Lakhimpur district and Dhemaji district during the last month. The unit also
plans to install four street solar lights and a library with indigenous books at the Neville High secondary
School at Chariduar and organize a football tournament for aspiring sports players to help needy
villagers of Assam.
