Dead body recovered

DEMOW, December 27: A dead body was recovered from a pond near the NH-37 road in Rajmai near Demow on Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Lakhindra Bhuyan (44), a resident of Rajmai Tea Garden 6 No Line.
According to sources, Lakhindra Bhuyan was a daily wage labourer and on Sunday morning, Lakhindra went out for work.
Demow police have sent the body for post mortem.
