Direction level meeting of lead intelligence agencies at SSB, Guwahati

GUWAHATI, Dec 2: A directional level meeting of lead intelligence agencies was held at Sashastra Seema Bal, Guwahati.
The meeting was headed by Sanjeev Sharma, inspector general, Sashastra Seema Bal, Guwahati and included representatives from various lead intelligence agencies of the government of India working in Guwahati like IB, Army, BSF.
In the meeting, information was shared about various types of activities taking place on the Indo-Bhutan border and discussions were also held on wildlife abduction, smuggling, etc. Thoughts were shared at the internal level and to reduce the increasing insurgency inside Assam. Talks were also held about the new development works going on inside Assam and the smooth implementation of various schemes of the government of India.
