GUWAHATI, Dec 3: Dr Bishnu Ram Nunisa, Sports Organiser was awarded the Bharatiya Gaurab Award – 2025 by the Mahatma Gandhi Global Peace India Foundation, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. The recognition marks a proud and humbling moment for him, acknowledging his dedicated work and commitment in the field of sports and community service.
Attending the ceremony at Silpgram, Guwahati, Dr Nunisa expressed gratitude and motivation. The event also featured a Zubeen Garg song singing competition and a separate, beautiful chorus rendition of his iconic song “Mayabini,” which added cultural depth and celebration to the evening.
