NAGAON, Nov 9: As per directive of Election Commission of India, the draft electoral roll of seven assembly constituencies under district election officer, Nagaon was published on Wednesday.
While addressing a press conference held at DC’s conference hall, additional deputy commissioner Deemple Boruah said the final electoral roll will be published on January 5, 2023.
For claims and objections in connection with enrolment in the final electoral roll, voters of those seven constituencies, can apply through online upto December 8, 2022, she added.
In a press note issued by the election department, Nagaon, it was stated that total 16,238 claims as well as objections in connection with enrolment were registered under the district election officer, Nagaon since January 5, 2022.
