Eid-ul-Adha celebrated with religious fervour in Hojai

HOJAI, July 10: Along with the rest of the Country, the holy festival of sacrifice Eid-Ul-Zuha, also known as Eid-al-adha was celebrated with pomp and gaiety in Hojai district on Sunday.
Thousands of Muslims joined the celebration of Eid–Ul-Zuha at Eidgha Maidan in Hojai, Nilbagan, Daboka, Udali, Jugijaan, Murajhar, Gopal Nagar, Kapasbari, Lanka and Lumding.
Hojai markets were thronged with children from the nearby areas to enjoy the festivity while purchasing sweets and toys.
