Felicitation function organised

BAKALIA, July 24: Executive member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Madhuram Lekthe and chairman of BLCC, Bipul Bora were felicitated at Bakaliaghat by Bakaliaghat Anchalic Yuva Sangha (BAYS) and Asomiya Bhashik Santha.
The felicitation function was held at Bakaliaghat Anchalic Yuva Sangha office premises. They were honoured with phulam gamosa and xorai. In the programme, both the leaders were welcomed and felicitated by Bakaliaghat Press Club; Srimanta Sankardeva Sangha, Karbi Anglong district unit and Bakalia unit, Koch-Rajbangshi Sanmilani and Koch-Rajbangshi Sahitya Sabha, Karbi Anglong District Committee, Lekhika Samaroh, Bakaliaghat Sarbajanin Rongali Bihu Celebration Committee. The felicitation programme was presided over by president of (BAYS) Akhil Hazarika.
They were earlier felicitated at Langpher Mondal BJP office by the BJP workers. Diphu MLA Bidyasing was also present there. On the occasion, EM Lekthe distributed fruit saplings to the people.
Former members of Autonomous Council, Ramsing Timung and Kangjang Terang, president of BJP Langpher Mandal Committee, Dorsing Rongpi attended the function.
