DIBRUGARH, Nov 4: The first graduation ceremony for the international students who have completed their academic programmes from Dibrugarh University was held on Thursday.
The event was graced by the vice chancellor of Dibrugarh University, Prof Jiten Hazarika; registrar, Dr Paramananda Sonowal; controller of examinations, Dr PK Kakoty; director of the office of International Affairs, Prof Surajit Borkotoky; Arinjit Hazarika, academic officer & deputy controller of examinations anchored the program. Reep Hazarika, MD, BCPL attended the event as the chief guest. Deans, heads, teachers, officers and students of DU also attended the ceremony.
The following students were feted at the graduation ceremony – Sarah Zengwa and Tariro Yolanda Manungo from Zimbabwe graduated with a masters in social work studies, and Zenga Emmanuel Ouere from Mali graduated with a masters in Economics from Dibrugarh University.
