MARGHERITA, Dec 22: Assam Tea Tribes Students’ Association (ATTSA) Margherita branch committee founder president, former Assam Agitation leader, and former All Assam Students’ Union leader Pradip Tanti of Margherita received an amount of Rs 20,000 from Margherita constituency MLA Bhaskar Sharma’s representative Disen Tipomia and Margherita BJP Sadar Mandal general secretary Satya Borkakoty on Wednesday.
It is to be mentioned here that Tanti has been in critical condition due to health issues for many months and received the one-time financial aid through the Chief Minister Relief Fund for treatment.
Disen Tipomia said that Pradip Tanti was ATTSA Margherita branch committee’s founder president, and was associated with various organisations and enterprises of Margherita for which he was highly admired by the masses.
Pradip Tanti said, “I will never forget the help that I received during this crucial time through Margherita MLA Bhaskar Sharma.”
