BISWANATH CHARIALI, Nov 25: A team of Basanta Smriti Sansthan, a memorial trust founded in memory of emerging writer Basanta Nepal of Balipukhuri, Biswanath, visited the residence of freedom fighter Hari Prasad Mishra and felicitated him with a citation and a gamosa on Friday.
The team with its president Hari Upadhyaya, secretary Dr Sanjib Upadhyaya, executive member Dr Bhakta Prasad Gautam and convener Dr Khemraj Nepal met the freedom fighter and interacted with him.
The felicitation programme was also attended by Chandra Kanta Sarma, retired headmaster, Purna Kumar Sarma, eminent dramatist, Narad Upadhyaya, eminent Sanskrit writer and Anjan Baskota.
