Tezpur, Octo 27: Starting from Tezpur’s historic Jonaki Cinema — the state’s very first movie theatre — the Tezpur Jubinians, along with The Socialist Organization (which has been working for a long time inspired by the ideals of the legendary artist Zubeen Garg) and all Zubeen fans of Tezpur, have begun the poster campaign for Zubeen Garg’s final film “Roi Roi Binale.”

Trishanu Bhuyan, social worker, founder of Tezpur Jubinians and former General Secretary of the All Assam Zubeen Garg Fan Club, said on this occasion, “This is the first time we are putting up posters for a Zubeen da movie without him among us — and this is also the last film he acted in. This is our final moment and opportunity to fulfill Zubeen da’s dream by making his film a success.” An emotional Trishanu also urged everyone to come forward and join hands in this effort.

Meanwhile, Bishnu Sharma, the current president of Tezpur Jubinians, appealed to everyone to ensure the film’s success by avoiding photography, videography, and piracy. He expressed hope that this film would shine worldwide and that Zubeen Garg’s dream would truly be reflected in the hearts of the people.

It is noteworthy that Tezpur’s Jonaki Cinema, built by Rupkonwar Jyoti Prasad Agarwala as the first cinema hall in Assam, was the venue for the release of the first Assamese film “Joymoti.” Zubeen Garg had also shown great concern and interest in the preservation and development of this heritage site, Jonaki.

As in earlier times, this year too, the poster campaign for the film “Roi Roi Binale” began at Tezpur’s historic Jonaki Cinema — Assam’s first movie theatre. The initiative was led by the Tezpur Jubinians, The Socialist Organization (which has been working for many years inspired by the ideals of Zubeen Garg), and all the fans of Zubeen from Tezpur.

Trishanu Bhuyan — founder of Tezpur Jubinians, former General Secretary of the All Assam Zubeen Garg Fan Club, social worker, and regarded as a son-like figure to Zubeen Garg — said, “This is the first time we are putting up posters for a Zubeen da film without him among us, and this is also the last film he acted in. This is our final moment, our chance to make Zubeen da’s dream film a success.” Becoming emotional, he further appealed to everyone to come forward and lend their support.

Meanwhile, Bishnu Sharma, the current president of Tezpur Jubinians, urged everyone to avoid taking photos and videos and to ensure the success of the film by keeping it free from piracy.

Expressing their hope from the cultural city of Tezpur, the group remarked that the film would shine across the world and truly reflect the realization of Zubeen da’s dream.
