Guwahati Airport employee sets record in India Book of Records

GUWAHATI, Dec 22: 
Ratul Kumar Jakharia, a bonafide employee of Airports Authority of India serving LGBI Airport, Guwahati had set a new record in the India Book of Records by covering one hundred kilometre walk in the shortest time.
He started his walk at 4:03 am on November 7, 2022 from Azara police station, reached Boko (Singora) and returned to Azara police Station at 8:38 pm on the same day. He covered 100 km in 16 hours and 35 mins. He is 55 years 10 months and 7 days old on the day he set the record i.e. on November 11, 2022.
LGBI Airport in presence of Azara Sports Club organised a grand felicitation event on Thursday where Ratul Kumar Jakharia was handed over the certificate received from the India Book of Records by the COO, GIAL Snehasis Dutta in presence of a member of Azara Sports Club.
