GUWAHATI, Aug 12: The SBI Staff Association Thrift & Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., Guwahati, celebrated the golden jubilee of its establishment since 1974 at the GMC Auditorium Hall, Bhangagarh. The event was inaugurated by Pradip Kumar Baishya, senior vice president of AISBISF and general secretary of SBISA NE Circle.
Prominent personalities including Bhupen Chandra Kalita, general secretary of the SBI Pensioners’ Association NE Circle; Dibakar Chakraborty, president of SBISA NE Circle; and Shyamanta Konwar, vice president of AISBISF, were present and shared their insights on the cooperative movement in the north-east.
