A police operation in Bhetapara has brought to light a fraudulent setup masquerading as a skill development agency. Acting on a tip-off, a team from Basistha Police Station raided the premises and dismantled what investigators described as a fake training outfit.
Three men — Monuj Kumar (30) from Rewari, Haryana, and Alekh Singh (30) along with Ishwar Prasad Yadav (26), both from Alwar, Rajasthan — were arrested during the operation. Police seized several items believed to be used in the scam, including computers, suspected forged marksheets, debit and credit cards, biometric scanners, blank cheques, mobile phones, and ₹2.05 lakh in cash.

Investigators said the group had been forging student documents to fraudulently enrol candidates under the PM Vikas (Minority Project) Skill Development Scheme. The fabricated entries allegedly helped the accused claim financial benefits from the government-backed initiative.
