Happy Child High School hosts annual function

GUWAHATI, May 29: Happy Child High School, a well-known educational institution in Guwahati city, celebrated its grand annual function, Cele-Fiesta, on Wednesday at the ‘Pragjyoti ITA Cultural Centre’, Machkhowa, Guwahati. School chairman CA BK Bansal, Management Committee members Sunil Agarwal, Anup Khemani, Kamal Jain, school secretary CA Saloni Binnani, principal Neelanjana Chakraborty, headmistress Soma Mukherjee, and Sanghamitra Roy formally started the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

In a spectacular colorful cultural program, children enthralled the auditorium with welcome songs, melodious flute playing, various types of dances like anand utsav, ayodhya tableau, twinkling toys, aikyam, mobile cataclysm, luit sammanav setu, jamboree, robotics, and ornamentation fashion show, among others, making it a wonderful show. Principal Chakraborty presented the annual report of the school and motivated all the teachers and students to contribute positively and achieve good results in the current session as well.

The school’s annual magazine, Agnitio, was also released during the program. School teachers and students were awarded for their co-curricular and extra-curricular activities carried out throughout the year for the all-round development of the students, for good examination results, highest attendance, punctuality, etc.

As always, the school’s results in the HSLC Exam 2024 were excellent. In the program, school topper Jagrit Kanoi and 37 students who scored 90 percent and above marks were awarded.

The school always appreciates the positive cooperation of its employees; hence, all the employees rendering services in the school were also rewarded. School secretary Saloni Binnani congratulated the entire school family and expressed hope that they will make the academic session successful with positive thinking and cooperation.
