HCDG College organises motivational talk for students

DEMOW, May 23: HCDG College organised a motivational talk on the topic “Navigation of Life” at the college auditorium recently.

The programme was organised by the Office of the Principal in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college.

The invited resource person for the session was Dombidhar Taye, a motivational speaker, student counsellor, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner and public servant from Sivasagar.

The programme was inaugurated by Principal Dr Birinchi Kumar Borah, who delivered the welcome address and highlighted the importance of motivational and guidance programmes for students and the younger generation.

The event was attended by faculty members, non-teaching staff and students of the college.

It was organised particularly for newly admitted Higher Secondary first-year and second-year students with the objective of motivating them in their academic journey.

During the session, Dombidhar Taye encouraged students to cultivate dedication, determination and hard work in order to achieve their goals.

He also advised students to make effective use of their time and avoid excessive misuse of mobile phones so that they could focus more on studies and other productive activities.

The speaker further emphasised the importance of self-love, positive attitude, willpower and perseverance for achieving long-term success and happiness in life.

Students actively participated in the interactive session and responded enthusiastically to questions posed during the programme.

The meeting concluded with remarks and observations by Principal Dr Birinchi Kumar Borah on the significance of the programme and its impact on students.
