Heroin seized in Assam

DILLAI, June 28: Dillai police led by SDPO, APS, John Das and O/C of Dillai police station, Lutfur Rahman recovered 194.80 grams of heroin from an i10 car bearing registration no. Mn01-AK3728 in the early hours and apprehended one Biter Haokip, son of late Laipu, resident of village Moinung, Manipur and a lady Kim Juli (27), daughter of Jamthang Khongsai of village Saikoi in Manipur.
The seizure was made based on specific information during which a naka checking was set up and the two persons carrying the consignment were trapped. Constable Nobo Prasad Bora and home guard Konak Soinari took an active part in recovering the consignment.
