Several protesters participating in the agitation reportedly fell ill due to a deterioration in their health.

Four protesters, including agitation leader Litson Rongphar and his associates Edison Tokbi, Jonasing Rongphar and Khelan Ingti, were taken to the Kheroni Model Hospital late Sunday night after their condition worsened.

Hospital sources said the four are currently undergoing medical treatment.

Despite the health concerns, the remaining protesters have continued with the indefinite hunger strike, reiterating their demand for an eviction drive from grazing reserve land.
