Interactive programme on NEP 2020 held at MSSV

NAGAON, Dec 9: The Nagaon wing of Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF), Assam Chapter organised two separate interactive sessions respectively at Sandipani Vidyamandir Sr Secondary School and Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya on Friday. The subject of the interaction at Sandipani Vidyamandir Sr Secondary School was ‘National Education Policy-2020: Orientation, Challenges and Implementation’ while the main topic of programme at Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya was ‘National Education Policy: Orientation on the first five years of school structure’ to orient the supervisors of Social Welfare department of Nagaon district with resource person Prof Nilima Bhagabati, international secretary general, CTEF (overseas) and state president, CTEF, Assam Chapter.
Prof Bhagabati oriented the target audience with a resourceful speech on the topics. Laxmi Narayan Rijal, principal, Anita Saboo Dhoot, vice principal and teachers of Sandipani Vidyamandir Senior Secondary School, Dr Sabita Devi, Dr Tribeni Saikia, Trisha Bhuyan, district coordinators and members of CTEF were present in the first session.
The second session was hosted by the department of Education, MSSV, Nagaon Campus. Prof Mridul Hazarika, at first addressed the audience which was followed by the speech of Prof Bhagabati who gave importance to holistic development of the students and asked for the goodwill of the stakeholders for successful implementation of the policy. The vote of thanks was delivered by Jahnabi Hazarika, assistant professor, MSSV.
Dr Tribeni Saikia, Dr Karabi Konch, Dr Rupshree Devi, Dr Hare Krishna Deka, Dr Jugal Khargharia, Dr Himakshi Kalita, Gourab P Hazarika, Munmun Das, the supervisors of the Social Welfare department, Nagaon, students of MSSV graced the occasion.
The entire event was anchored by Mrigakshi Sharma, assistant professor, department of Education. Prof Bhagabati pointed out all the important features of successful implementation of NEP 2020 and also cleared the doubts of the participants, a release added.
