Jorhat College releases books at Assam Book Fair

JORHAT, Dec 7: Ten books written and some edited by members of the Jorhat College (Amalgamated) were released at a ceremony held in the ongoing Assam Book Fair at the Jorhat Court Field on Tuesday.
A press statement by the college informed that the books were released by several noted persons, which include Dr Poran Baruah, a retired scientist of CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat.
Jorhat College principal Dr Devabrata Sharma, speaking on the occasion, said that teachers of the college were working towards publishing 60 books to mark the 60 years of the establishment of the institute as an integral part of the ongoing Kohinoor Jayanti celebrations.
