Journo Passes Away

BOKAJAN, Jan 4: Emmanuel Tisso (42), a journalist of Bokajan breathed his last at around 9:30 pm died on Tuesday night. He had complained of pain in his stomach; and on January 3, the pain worsened and he was admitted to Nikos Hospital, Dimapur in the neighbouring state of Nagaland where he died while undergoing treatment.

He was a resident of Saphapani Wai Rongpi village and was working for Karbi Hills Live and NN Barta. He has left behind his wife Majuli Singnarpi and two sons.

Khatkhati Press Club members have expressed sadness at his untimely demise and held a condolence meet in Lahorijan PWD IB. President of Khatkhati Press Club Anand Terang offered his condolences to the bereaved family.
