KYO Demands Punishments For Alleged Rapists

DIPHU, April 23: Karbi Youth Organisation (KYO) in a press release demanded the punishment of three alleged rapists Naimuddin Ali, Muklul Islam and Asfagul Amin with rigorous imprisonment. KYO said that a Karbi woman was gang raped in a rented house at Neelkamal Path, Hatigaon on April 21.

KYO said the CEO of the company, Rafid Ali, whom the woman worked for should also be arrested along with the three rapists as he allegedly told the victim that she was employed in the company solely for the purpose of sex.

KYO pleaded with Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council to look into the matter.
