Maryam College Inaugurates Handmade Magazine ‘Seshat’

HOJAI, June 26:
 Department of English, Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science and Technology, Hojai has inaugurated the second edition of the handmade magazine, entitled ‘Seshat’ on Saturday. The event was attended by guests and dignitaries of Ajmal Foundation, Dr Khasrul Islam, director, Ajmal Foundation; chief academic officer, Dr RK Rath; college academic officer, Jahidul Haque Choudhury; college inspector, Dr Samim Sofika Begum and other principals from Hojai based colleges. The event was hosted by Umme Kulsum.
The handcrafted magazine contains articles of different literary genres. During the grand opening of ‘Seshat’, the department also felicitated and awarded cash prizes to the winners of the ‘Online Book Review Competition’ held in the month of April, 2022. The winners were felicitated by the dignitaries of Ajmal Foundation and guests along with the faculties of department of English, Aditi Ghosh, Junumani Ahmed, Md. Quamrul Hassan. The event ended with the vote of thanks offered by Esha Choudhury.
