Meeting of District Level Advisory Committee held at Haflong

HAFLONG, Jan 5: A meeting of the District Level Advisory Committee was held for celebration of National Girl Child Day PC-PNDT Act in the office chamber of the additional chief medical & health officer (FW), Dima Hasao, Haflong on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by the additional chief medical & health officer (FW) Dr Marina Changsan, joint director of Medical & Health Service Dr Duleswar Gogoi, and other officials, members of Dimasa Mother Association and NGOs.
In the meeting, Dr Merina said that the meeting was conveyed to discuss the celebration of the National Girl Child Day PC-PNDT Act and to provide awareness of the PC-PNDT Act to the society. Moreover, she added that both boys and girls have equal importance in society.
In the meeting, it was informed that the programme for celebration of National Girl Child Day PC-PNDT Act will be held on January 24, 2023 at District Library Auditorium Hall, Haflong, Dima Hasao.
