MORIGAON, Aug 14: Morigaon district administration in association with the Assam Chamber of Commerce, Morigaon and with the support of ‘Rong’, an organisation of painters, Morigaon organised a wall-painting programme at the office of joint director of health service. The wall-painting programme was formally inaugurated by the deputy commissioner Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia (IAS) in presence of ADCs, noted social worker Mileswar Patar, president of MZSS Pratap Hazarika, COs and officers of various departments. Earlier the district administration felicitated the invited painters with a traditional gamosa. The felicitation programme was conducted by ADC Garga Mohan Das. Altogether 10 painters painted various pictures related to India’s independence on the wall of the office of the joint director.
