MoU signed between New Look Academy and Sibsagar Commerce College

SIVASAGAR, Oct 8: A Memorandum of Understanding between the New Look Academy (NLA) and Sibsagar Commerce College (SCC) for academic cooperation and faculty exchange was signed on Saturday in presence of a large number of guardians and teachers in NLA Library Hall.
It was signed by Dr Saumerjyoti Mahanta, principal, SCC; Srimanta Borthakur, principal, NLA; Manoj Kumar Borthakur, senior journalist; Dr Lakhimi Dutta, HoD, English, SCC, and Rasmi Bora Saikia.
Earlier, the parents’ counseling session, held on the occasion, was addressed by Dr Lakhimi Datta, Dr Saumerjyoti Mahanta, and Manoj Kumar Borthakur as resource persons.
Dr Lakhimi Dutta in her speech highlighted the areas of emotional skills, decision-making skills, and developing a home environment. Dr Saumerjyoti Mahanta spoke on the NEP 2020 and inclusive policy. Manoj Kumar Borthakur spoke on techniques for improving pronunciation in English. Srimanta Borthakur thanked the guests and the guardians for their generous presence.
